Welcome to the Our Lady of the Valley Confirmation Program. Today marks the beginning of the journey you will take toward this Sacrament. What a privilege! What a gift! What a grace!
Confirmation is a sacrament of spiritual maturity. By the grace of God, the Holy Spirit stirs the gifts within us to prepare for a lifelong journey of faith and walking with the Lord. Like anything worth doing, this sacrament takes intentional preparation and practice, the cultivation of virtue and the pursuit of God's goodness to help each of us become the best version of ourselves.
This blog is part of the preparation for Confirmation. Within its pages are the videos and questions that drive our conversations and conversion experiences. Confirmation candidates will watch, think, dream, question, discover, process, and dialogue through written and verbal means here. Parents and sponsors will journey with their candidates here. The mentors, facilitators, priests, and staff will interact here. The Holy Spirit will descend and move here.
